A look back at our «Reduce your taxes in 2023» seminar»

On Monday 26 June, Impact Hub Lausanne hosted our event entitled «Buying or selling a business: think ahead, don't miss any opportunities».

This seminar was aimed at anyone wishing one day to transfer their business or take over a company.

The aim was to raise participants' awareness of the opportunities and possibilities involved in taking over and selling a business, and in particular the need to plan ahead for this type of project.

  • On the seller's side, the sale process needs to be anticipated well in advance and involve a variety of contacts to help the seller mature and refine his or her plans. Anticipation also means ensuring that the company is ready for the sale.
  • On the investor's side, the acquisition process needs to be prepared so that they can be reactive when the time comes. This preparation involves not only thinking about the buyer's business plan and the scope of the investment, but also identifying the financial capacity and existing financial instruments.
  • As these processes are always highly emotional, involving the right advisers not only ensures that professionalism and objectivity are maintained throughout, but also, and above all, that the process is conducted in such a way as to optimise the terms of the transaction.
