Recently, a company that we helped to develop enjoyed great success and media exposure. With its participation in the TV programme «Who wants to be my partner?» on M6, klode° has risen to the forefront of the entrepreneurial scene.

A high-profile appearance on M6 marked an important step for klode°, which managed to convince two well-known investors, Tony Parker, a renowned basketball player, and Kelly Massol, founder of the «Les secrets de Loly» brand.

In 2019, klode° joined the incubator -Pulse Hes, in Geneva. A start-up incubator that we support. It was there that we met Tim Coutherez, Luca Fazzone and Aude Ambrosini. A few years later, this meeting paved the way for a fruitful collaboration, demonstrating once again the importance of networks and partnerships. We're proud to support start-ups from the very beginning, and even more so when they call on our services as they grow.

As well as supporting klode°, this venture also highlights our commitment to in-house entrepreneurship. Aude, co-founder of klode°, is also our communications manager. Aude has flexible working hours, enabling her to juggle her business with her assignments at Berney. We strongly believe that this «double-hatting» gives her a global vision and a valuable and enriching perspective for our company.

What is klode°?

klode° is a Franco-Swiss design brand that designs and develops innovative products that benefit the planet through their functionality.

klode° has created Mint, the first organic waste bin with a vacuum system. Thanks to its entirely manual mechanism, it allows households to sort their organic waste without odour, gnats or disgust by vacuum-packing it.

Organic waste is still the least sorted waste, with only 45% of this waste being sorted. When it is not sorted and ends up in the incineration plant, water is burnt. This waste is responsible for 40% of CO2 emissions from incineration plants. klode°'s mission is to help increase the sorting of this waste by providing a solution that addresses the main obstacle to sorting: the nuisance it creates in the kitchen.
