We are pleased to announce the arrival of Karine Badertscher Chamoso as partner in charge of the Audit department in Lausanne.

Find out more about him in these questions:
Can you sum up your career in a few words?
I started auditing 21 years ago at an international fiduciary firm. I moved into accounting expertise and had two years of expatriation in Montreal, Canada, followed by a few more years of experience which then allowed me to take over the management of the audit department in Lausanne.
I have worked with numerous clients in French-speaking Switzerland across very diverse sectors, both public and private, such as energy, industry, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, events, IT... etc.
In fact, there are few sectors I haven't audited in recent years, which really reflects the diversity of our region's economic fabric.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
Human relations and figures.
In the auditing profession, I obviously enjoy the relationships with the teams, but also the relationships we build with our clients. They trust us, explain their operational challenges and strategic objectives. It's a privileged role where we support leaders in situations that are sometimes complex but always very rewarding.
It's a profession in which I learn every day, with standards and technology constantly evolving. Being able to contribute to protecting our clients' financial reputation, the reliability of their figures, and ultimately, their objectives is extremely rewarding.
What made you want to join Berney Associés as a partner?
My first contacts immediately made me feel this passion for customer service, the conviviality between associates, which in my eyes is one of the keys to the group's success, and also a closeness and direct impact with the companies and entrepreneurs of French-speaking Switzerland.
I also wanted to experience the unique dynamic of Berney Associés as a family business, with its long-term vision, straightforward decision-making, and sense of solidarity.
What are your objectives in this new role? What do you want to bring to the company and to customers?
In this new role, I have several objectives. I want to share my experience and knowledge with clients and teams, according to their needs and where I can be most useful.
I also want to contribute to the group's growth by strengthening its presence in the region and enhancing the team's visibility in Lausanne.
And I will, of course, greatly enjoy building strong relationships with my clients and colleagues, in order to work in a friendly and dynamic environment, which is very important to me.
