Raphaël Leveau co-authors a white paper on business succession in Switzerland

Our associate Raphaël Leveau, head of the Corporate Finance department, is featured in the June 2026 issue of PME magazine. Alongside Aude Tinguely (BCV) and Frédéric Rochat (Kellerhals Carrard), he presents the white paper they co-authored for the Swiss Chamber of Business Transfer Experts, of which he is a member of the management committee.
A White Paper for the Chamber's 5th Anniversary
The Chamber is celebrating its 5th anniversary and now has nearly 200 members. To mark this occasion, it is publishing a white paper on the evolution of the Swiss mergers and acquisitions (M&A) market. The work was presented on 8 June 2026, during the association's general meeting.
The three authors have chosen a simple and accessible format: questions and answers on the major themes of the transactions market. Their analyses are based primarily on their practical experience. The book focuses on the sales and acquisitions of SMEs, which represent the vast majority of transactions.
His interview in PME magazine
In the PME magazine article, Raphaël Leveau looks back at the major trends of the moment: selling prices returning to more normal levels, many more buyers than sellers on the market, and a resumption of transactions expected in 2026. He also discusses the impact of artificial intelligence on the counselling profession.
