Berney Associés supports Noam Yaron in his world record for Nature

At Berney Associés, sport and the environment are at the heart of our values. For a long time, we have supported sports teams and high-level athletes, convinced that sport is a powerful vector for communication and awareness. That is why we are proud to announce our support for Noam Yaron, an athlete whose journey and values resonate perfectly with ours.
A challenge: the longest wetsuit swim
This summer, Noam Yaron, a young 27-year-old Swiss athlete, is embarking on an extraordinary challenge: to set the world record for the longest distance swam in a wetsuit. This route of over 180 kilometres will connect Calvi, in Corsica, to Monaco. An exceptional feat that he plans to achieve in three days and three nights, without leaving the water.
A strong environmental commitment
Beyond physical prowess, this challenge is an initiative for environmental preservation. Noam's swim is part of an awareness campaign aimed at drawing attention to the protection of oceans and marine biodiversity. By choosing to swim in a wetsuit, Noam avoids the excessive use of sunscreen, which is harmful to marine ecosystems.
Official recognition by the World Open Water Swimming Federation
This world record attempt is certified by the World Open Water Swimming Federation, adding official recognition to this exceptional performance.
A determined athlete with impressive achievements
Noam Yaron is no stranger to a challenge. In 2021, he swam across Lake Geneva, covering approximately 80 kilometres in under 20 hours. In 2022, he swam across the five largest lakes in Switzerland, totalling 188 kilometres of swimming over 11 days. More recently, in 2023, he completed an epic triathlon, crossing Switzerland from east to west, covering 750 kilometres with an elevation gain of 13,000 metres.
Berney Associés and Noam Yaron: a natural partnership
At Berney Associés, we are deeply touched by Noam's adventurous spirit and commitment to the environment. This crossing project between Calvi and Monaco reflects the values we cherish: determination, respect for nature, and commitment to a sustainable future. Supporting Noam in this challenge is a no-brainer for us, as his initiative aligns perfectly with our ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) approach.
Follow Noam Yaron’s adventure
We invite you to follow this exceptional adventure closely. The crossing could begin as early as 19 August, depending on weather conditions. We are convinced that this partnership will help strengthen Berney Associés' image and commitment to sustainable causes.
